This locomotive (with 2 motors) is quite heavy...around 6 pounds...so be careful when removing it from its box and foam insert.
This loco has a 2nd motor in the tender with a wire link between the engine and the tender. I do not have a transformer or track so it is untested, but all buyers of other locos I have sold have been very satisfied with their working models.
Physically this is a very
HEAVY
locomotive. Please be careful when removing it from its foam storage inside the box.
I am not a collector/modeler and therefore you may know more about this than I do.
The unit here is being sold as it is pictured and described.
Please look carefully at the 16 pictures here and the associated text to be sure this is the model you want.
This unit is for use on O guage track with a third rail for transferring power from track to locomtive.

This loco and tender weighs about 6 pounds...unpack carefully.
I know the features shown on the box above are hard to read

are actually in this model.
The model description to the right of the barcode in the picture indicates it
DOES HAVE
Protosound and the sound holes in the underside of the tender seem to bear this out, but as I have no track on which to test this engine, I can only guess it has that feature and it is working properly.
As there is a tube of "smoke" in the box it would also seem to have the smoking feature built into it.
Bottom line:
This item is sold as pictured and described...features listed in
PURPLE ON THE BOX END
are a question mark as noted above.
