Description

exact item shown, Watkins Johnson YIG Tuned GaAs Oscillator. as you can see from the spectrum analyzer photo, it's working fine.
Voltages are:
pins 1 and 2 approx +5 (adjust for tuning)
pin 6 ground, also reference for bias applied to pin 3
pin 3, bias, apply -11 volts <<< note,
minus
11 volts
pins 7,8 FM modulation input, approx 5V peak.
pins 4,5 Heater - I used 5V I have read that others use 22 to 28V

by adjusting the tuning voltage (current) and the FM, I could move the center of the signal across the spec range - the step at 12 GHz you see in my analyzer is an equipment problem - if I can ever find a manual, maybe I can adjust that out.
