The pin is made out of a gold colored stamped metal with black, red and white enamel.  The lapel pin measures approximately 9/16" tall and 9/16" wide.  The pin is held on to the garment using a single pin and clutch back hasp.
This 34 year old lapel pin is used and has been worn on a denim riding jacket but remains in nice looking condition.
I received this pin upon my paid renewal of my annual
AMA membership dues back in the day.
