KINDERGARTEN EYE CHART 20' is used to measure visual acuity by determining the level of visual detail that a person can discriminate. White translucent plastic chart features non-glare black symbols instead of letters for testing of preliterate pediatric patients. The chart is made of a flexible but durable plastic material with a matte finish. Packaged: 1 each.

HOW THE TEST IS PERFORMED: This test may be done in a health care provider's office, a school, workplace, or elsewhere. You will be asked to remove your glasses or contact lenses and stand or sit 20 feet (6 meters) from the eye chart. You will keep both eyes open. You will be asked to cover one eye with the palm of your hand, a piece of paper, or a small paddle while you read out loud the smallest line of letters you can see on the chart.

This is a chart for measuring visual acuity at a distance - in other words, how well you can see things that are far away. The eye chart is the eye testing chart used by eye care professionals to measure visual acuity, or how well a patient can see without assistance.
This test is used by people who cannot read or by young children who don’t know the alphabet. Instead of using different letters, the Kindergarten eye chart uses shapes like boats, hearts, stars, and circles.
When testing for visual acuity, the patient covers one eye and reads aloud the letters on the chart, beginning at the top and moving toward the bottom. The smallest row of letters that the patient reads accurately determines visual acuity in the uncovered eye. The results of your acuity exam (chart reading) will determine the quality of your eyesight.

Items must not be defaced (e.g. no handwriting or other marks on packaging). We will arrange & pay for return shipping on any item that we shipped incorrectly. Return shipping fees incurred by purchaser will not be reimbursed. Returns must use shipping label(s) we provide.
Please submit a return request for a return authorization number (RA). The RA number will prevent any further delay with the return process. Please remember to keep all the original packaging and documentation in the event your item(s) needs to be returned or exchanged. If your return is not eligible for return under this policy or otherwise does not comply with this policy, you will be notified and no credit or refund will be issued and your products will not be returned to you.
