Singer Featherweight Vintage Sewing Machine with Pedal & Case 1949 Estate Item

This is a Singer Vintage Featherweight Sewing Machine. Serial AJ190419 which dates it to 1949. Comes with original pedal and storage case. From a local estate. Read details below before bidding.
Cosmetics-The body has some general wear, scratches, and paint loss. Most heavily on the edges, work area, and the front lower right body area. Additionally the flip table has an area of heavier scratches. See photos. Good overall otherwise. The power cord that plugs into the wall is a newer replacement. Operationally I am not a sewing person but did my best in checking this out. It does power up, the work light illuminates, and it ran pretty smoothly when I pushed down on the pedal. Speed adjusted accordingly via the pedal. I put a piece of cloth under the needle area and it pushed it along and reversed direction when I pulled up on the lever. It seems to generally respond but no other testing has been done. It had a former label in the case of its last service from 1999. The gears and mechanism look dry. So after 20 plus years in storage this most likely will need a proper service before use

Includes the machine, inserted bobbin case, foot pedal, and carry case seen above. The case has edge wear and coating loss. The left latch is firm and takes a hard push when closing. No key. No other attachments. Nothing else is included. Will be well packed for safe shipping
