    Description

This Singer 550C is a nice sewing machine in its own right. It is easy to use, easy to sew with and makes good stitches. The free arm option lets you sew sleeves and pant lags, and the handle allows you to take it anywhere. It makes extremely good straight stitches, and it looks good doing it.
Every stitch it makes is good, but the zig-zags aren't the best. I don't want to tell you anything but the truth, and although it makes okay zig-zags, if you are getting it for that particular feature, you'd be better served getting another machine. But all of the other stitches are done well, particularly if you use the micro adjustment lever on the top front right. You can dial in stitches extremely precise. Check out the swatch I sewed, and some of the harder stitches, like the criss-cross one, are really done well.
I will leave it threaded for you, since it does not come with a manual, but they are readily available online. Like I said, it is easy to sew on, just thread it, follow the instructions on the front that tell you where to position the levers, and go. That's really all there is to it.
Hey, if you need a good basic sewing machine, or a beginner machine, this Singer 550C will be right for those tasks. If you want something almost new that comes with a multitude of different stitches, then check out the New Home 900 we also have on this week.
30 bucks shipping to get this Singer to your home, as long as you live in the lower 48.
    Thanks!
