Very nice Singer Featherweight 221 portable sewing machine.
This machine has been professionally serviced. It has:
a new leather belt
new internal felt drip pad (eliminates musty odors by changing it)
original foot control with new wiring
A new reproduction case (99.00 value) and it is beautiful with keys
and has been thoroughly serviced.
Technician has been factory trained by Singer along with other machine companies and 20+years experience fixing featherweights and other machines
It sews like a dream. The machine dimensions are
approximately
10 inches tall, 7 inches deep, 12 inches wide when the end is folded up, and 15 inches wide when unfolded.
The machine bed has very few, and minor pin marks. The gold decals are intact and look very good. Please refer to pictures.
Remember this machine is almost 72 years old
The serial number is AJ618384 with a production date of June 1, 1950
Unfortunately, I am moving and will have no where to store my 'collection' (my friends call it a hoard! The NERVE!)
