23 stitches and an automatic 1 step buttonhole, as already mentioned; also features like the automatic needle threader and reverse lever directly about the needle, make using this machine a delight.
Threading is a breeze, just follow the threading arrows, then use the auto threader. Bobbin winding is also simple. Loading the bobbin is from the top and when inserted the view-through cover, allows the user to see how much thread is left on the bobbin at any time. Handy when sewing curtains, you can be sure you're not going to run short of bobbin thread half way along a seam.
