Opalite for knapping. Biface, spal and flakes medium flate rate box full

Description

Medium flat rate box filled with opalite for (the rock, not the man-made glass) spals, flakes and crude bifaces. The material is from oregon. It's dominantly white with hints of blue, gray, pink or red. This stone knapps well but is soft just like any other opal. It does feel noticeable difference if you are used to flint of chert.
I worked them down to get out all the flaws from the larger raw materials. Absolutely do not heat treat this material, for one it will probably just break. But the pink and red hues are cinnabar and when heated becomes mercury. It would create a toxic gas, and then you'll go around actkng like the mad hatter...
