    Description

If you know anything about Necchi BU machines, you know they are heavy, all metal, and they sew through thick material that other machines can't do. This Necchi is one of the best at sewing leather that I have ever seen. It zips through it like nobodies business, and that is 1/4" leather we are talking about. It might do leather thicker than that, but  I was using an old needle and I didn't want to stress it. This is one tough machione.
The decals look pretty good, but the front chrome piece has some corrosion on it. Obviously that won't matter for anyone who needs a machine to sew heavier weight material. It zig-zags too, but I didn't try that through any leather material, so no guarantees on that, but it absolutely straight stitch n1/4" leather with no problems.
It comes with what you see, no booklet, some bobbins and such. I will keep it threaded for you so you'll know how to do it, and if you want to zig-zag, just move the lower center lever all the way to the right. There really isn't much more than that to make it sew.
I lubed up every moving part, as always, and it sews really nice. It will sew as it is, but it will fit in a case or a cabinet. The pedal and cords are all solid, but the light is always on as soon as you plug it in.
35 bucks shipping to anywhere in the lower 48, and it will come with free insurance to your door.
I have another leather sewing machine on this week, a Singer 15-91, and if interested, please check it out. If you really like classics that sew as good as they look, I also have on a very old but very nice Franklin sewing machine as well.
    Thanks!
