MUZZLE LOADER SPEED LOADING BLOCK AND SHORT STARTER 45 CALIBER ROUND BALL
This is a traditional speed loading block always ready to make it a little quicker for you to load a patched round ball into the bore of you muzzle-loader. These are especially desirable for the purists who enjoy keeping their muzzle loading hunting and shooting very traditional and true to the era when theses firearms were the only means for battle, personal protection, putting meat on the table and also competition shooting.
In order to use these you simply lubricate a properly sized patch and center it over one of the holes in the hard wood block, insert a round ball (just like you would on your bore when loading) and push the ball into the block
flush on top and extending a little below the block on the patched side. This hold s the patched ball securely in the block and allows you to quickly line up and set the ball into the bore of your muzzle-loader and quickly start it into the barrel with the short starter.
They are light weight easy to carry in your possible bag and will hold 4 patched round balls that will be always on the ready for a quicker “next shot!”
This particular one for a 45 caliber muzzle-loader and has been pre-stained in a dark brown, wood grain finish.
These loading blocks are made from solid hard wood and come complete with a rawhide lanyard and a short starter that is 3” long. Size of block is 6 3/16" long x 1" wide x 7/16" thick.
