Description
This is possibly the last day I will list autographed Playmate material on eBay. On account of the restrictions put into place by eBay for "adult content," I am already posting a majority of my items elsewhere, namely www.AdultStuffOnly.com. It is a bit of a hassle keeping up with two sites, so I might as well just move everything over. Time will tell, but visit me at the new website. Same seller name.Up for auction here is a headshot promotional photo signed by Jennifer Lavoie, Playboy Playmate Miss August 1993. This is an 8 x 10 promo.
Although there is not a PEI (Playboy Enterprises Inc.) sticker on the back, this is definitely a PEI
photo produced from the negative. If you are a well educated collector, you know what this means: It is a high quality photo produced on excellent photographic paper with no markings on the back. The gloss is super.
This promo is one of the promotionals that Jennifer made available for fans while she was active on the Playboy X-Treme Team. They did some pretty impressive athletic races.
I h
ave been collecting Playboy Playmate autographs for close to 25 years. Promos and centerfolds have always been my favorites, but I also collect glossies, cards, tearsheets and all sorts of memorabilia.
S
ome of my items will be listed in the "adult only" area, and others in the area open to the general public, so be sure to look in both, or you will not see all of my auctions.
D
o yourself a favor (and me, too) if/when purchasing more than one item. Whether you get one item or ten, the charge for shipping remains the same, provided we work out the payment details so I can send a combined shipping invoice. So wait until I send an invoice to get the best shipping charge.
Any questions, just ask.
I have stated in some of my previous listings, and will mention it again here: There are quite a few dealers who are very successful at selling forgeries. Some start the auctions at super low prices, and the forgeries are very poor. Others do not seem to know the difference between authentic and forged items, and simply list whatever they get their hands on. One has been quite successful at mixing authentic items with high end forgeries. As a long time collector who realized decades ago that one has to be careful about what one collects, all I can state is that serious collectors should be careful about what they buy.
Shipping is generally via USPS Priority Mail flat rate mailer, and includes a tracking number. If you want to arrange for some other shipping method, let me know, and I'll see what can be done. I would ask, however, that we figure out together what's best. I take pride in my packing, and will not ship anything unless I am sure it is going to reach you in the same condition it is when being sold.
