RARE CONDITION
This is a RARE Girl Scout Handbook.  In 1917 this book was issued calling it simply, "Handbook for Girl Scouts."   "How Girls Can Help Their Country" is on the title page, but not on the cover as on the issue from 1916.  It appears that all the pages are the same but this issue adds a page for a total of 154 pages while the 1916 is only 153 pages.  I'm sure the differences are very minor, and for content, the 1917 book is great, showing badge requirements, and pictures of the original white felt badges most of which went on to the Khaki era.  Condition is  EXCELLENT, I saved the best for last!   The pages are slightly yellowing but are NOT BRITTLE, which is important. I don't see any writing, no soiling and no fading.
Except for the second picture,
all other pictures are from the exact book you will receive.  Excellent for the collector, or for display.  This is MUSEUM QUALITY.
