THIS BERNINA 831 IS THE SISTER TO THE MODEL 830 BERNINA, BOTH MACHINES ARE FROM THE SAME BODY MOULDS......THE PRIMARY DIFFERENCE IS ADDED PATTERNS ON THE MODEL 830.  LITTLE KNOW IS THE POWER THAT BOTH MODELS HAD.  MOST OF MY PAST CUSTOMERS THAT REALY ONLY NEED A SEWING MACHINE FOR, SEWING LEATHER AND UPHOLSTERY.  THEY WOULD BUY THE MODEL BERNINA 831.  REMEMBER CONDITION OF PAINT FINISH, VINYL INSPECTION PANELS, METAL PARTS ETC, ETC, ARE EXTREMLEY IMPORTANT DETERMINE THE VALUE OF A SEWING MACHINE.  SO TO FIND A  MODEL 831 IN THIS CONDITION, IS VERY RARE.

STANDARD PRESSER FEET:
Metal zigzag foot, clear zigzag foot, metal zigzag foot for buttonhole, hemmer foot, zipper foot, cording guide, darning foot, straight stitch foot, 2 screwdrivers (large & small), 2 white felt spool pin pads, small red screwdriver (made in Germany), and a pintuck foot,
We are also including a Bernina 830/831 instruction manual (copy).  The primary difference between the Bernina 830 and the Bernina 831 is the pattern stitches.  Both machines are from the same body mold.

I recently bought a Toyota sewing machine from you. I am used to  using industrial sewing machines so I had my reservations on how this machine  would perform. I was pleasantly surprised! It took a few adjustments and getting  used to but it did what I wanted it to do. . What I really like doing is the purses and it did a  fine job with those as you can see!
