The
refurbishing process may involve touch up paint on some places. In addition, if
I find crack in plastic covers I super glue them, apply touch up paint and sand
them to look great. Every machine I sell is washed and disinfected.
This
particular fine example is vantage Bernina zigzag model. I even don't know the model type. It is a rear find and I cant locate a similar one to this. I bought it at auction for 0. After arrival, the motor was seized. I decided to reborn it.
First, I removed the motor and knee controller arm. I fit and installed a Viking 190 high quality motor on it (modern and great condition motor).  To preserve the bobbin winder, I cut the old shaft and attached the pully and bobbin portion to the motor. I fit and adapted Janome power switch and foot pedal on it. Then I applied black and army paint colors to it.
