Description
Bernina Record 830 with case, feet, extension, and circle attachmentBernina's top of the line offering between 1971 to 1982. This, is undoubtably one of the most sought after vintage Berninas on the aftermarket today. The 830 Record is a front loading, oscillating hook machine. It uses something called a CB Hook which is just Bernina's lingo for their proprietary oscillating hook system. One of the things to love about these Berninas is just how easy it is to pop the hook out. These are super easy to remove and clean. Just press a button on the side of the cover and presto, out comes the hook! Just about everything has been well thought out and designed with usability in mind. Threading is a total snap, and all the sewing controls are carefully laid out. And of course, this uses Bernina's proprietary Old Style Feet. This ingenious quick-change system provides the stability of a screw on system but without the hassle of screws! This machine has 20 built in stitch cams with a large selection of utility and decorative stitches. Features an easy to use built in buttonholer. Has a speed control for the motor, and switch to raise and lower the feed dogs, a pattern stitch indicator ( for precise control of decorative stitching), easy reverse, needle position selector, presser foot knee bar control, and simple thread system. This workhorse can handle almost any sewing task. This machine has been professionally cleaned and serviced with a new nylon gear installed. Tested. Comes with case, 15 presser feet, circle attachment, knee bar, cord and foot pedal, case with 9 bobbins, needles, and original manual.
