BERNINA 830 Sewing Machine Made in Switzerland Vintage & Collectible. This machine will straight stitch as well as zig-zag and 5 utility stitches named, “overlock”, “stretch”, “universal”, “running “ & “blind”. Also has 15 decorative satin stitches.
I tried all stitches and they all seem to work great. I don't know this model very well, so you can tell the stitches are not as uniform as they should be. I know it's old and heavy and made in Switzerland. Machine runs and sounds great!
Sold as is with items shown in photos which include the flat extension, metal knee lift lever, a red box that holds the foot control, several bobbins, 10 presser foot attachments, needles, embroidery hoop, needles etc as shown in pictures. Has the original manual, foam packing for the head in the case. The case does have a gap in the handle as shown, but it holds the case fine.
I will be running this machine for just one week as I need it to be done in order to close out an estate.
