The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coins’ edge is grained.
Obverse:
in the center — the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus, circumferential inscriptions: at the top — РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom — the denomination: 10 РУБЛЁЎ (10 RUBLES) on the left-hand side – the year of issue, on the right-hand side – alloy standard; in the center – a stylized image of ski ramps of the city of Lahti against the background of a "frosty pattern", made in the style of a geometric national ornament.
Reverse:
in the center – a stylized image of skiers in a circular composition, and the logo of the International Ski Federation FIS (ФИС); circumferential inscriptions: at the top - NORDIC WORLD SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS, at the bottom – LAHTI 2017.
