The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coin’s edge is grained.

in the center — the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and circumferential inscription: РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the centre – the image of the small bird on the palms; below on the right – the year of issue and the alloy standard, at the bottom – the denomination: 10 РУБЛЁЎ (10 RUBLES).
Reverse
in the centre, in the oval symbolizing the egg – a relief image of the bird; around the oval there are circumferential inscriptions: from the left – ПТУШКА ГОДА (BIRD OF THE YEAR), from the right – ГОГАЛЬ ЗВЫЧАЙНЫ (COMMON GOLDENEYE).
