The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The edge of the coins is reeded.
Obverse
at the top – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center of the coin within the circle – the image of a fragment of the one-faced belt produced by the manufactory of Slutsk (1776–1780) and exhibited in the National Museum of History and Culture of Belarus (on a silver coin the belt’s fragment is reproduced with the help of pad-printing technique); at the top along the rim an inscription: РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); on the left – the year of issue, on the right – artistic element, on the bottom – denomination: РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE).

on the left along the rim an inscription: СЛУЦКІЯ ПАЯСЫ. ШЛЯХЕЦКІ КАСЦЮМ (THE BELTS OF SLUTSK. NOBLEMAN’S DRESS); on the left – the image of a man’s figure (a nobleman) in the traditional costume, girt with the belt of Slutsk; on the right – a stylized image of his bloodline as a symbol of a noble family.
