The coin is round. The rim is raised on both sides of the coin. The edge of the coin's is corrugated. Surface of the coin is oxidized.
Obverse:
the relief image showing the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus in the circle surrounded by the geometrical ornament; in the center — the solar sign symbolizing the rays of the sun and comprising an octagonal geometric pattern with the decorative elements; beneath — the year of issue and circumferential inscriptions: at the top — РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom —
АД3IН РУБЕЛЬ (ONE RUBLE)

in the center – the interior of a village hut in which the table was set to pray for the dead; at the top – two angels that are holding a candle over the entrance to the hut; on the left, right, and at the top – relief elements of the Belarusian national ornament with the motives of the Soul; and at the bottom – a circumferential inscription: ДЗЯДЫ (DZYADY).
