Description:
The little Capricorn sign is the subject of this antique-finished silver Belarusian coin launched in 2009. The sign is represented as the mountain goat cub with brown zircon eyes. The relief image is placed against the background of snowflakes which refer to the winter season. The border around the image contains the New Year’s attributes as well due to the Capricorn is a sign of the winter holidays period. The obverse of the collectible coins has the same design that other coins of the Zodiac series have. The name of the issuing country and the year of minting are placed along the rim of the coin next to the coin’s denomination in Belarusian and the state emblem. The center of the picture is occupied by the reliefs of the sun and the moon and the symbol of the Capricorn. The circumference around them bears the whole Zodiac circle with its signs’ symbols.
